So newbies... What are the main things you want to know so I can write a general newbie tuning guide.

As most things seem obvious to me so what are the questions you think are most important from a newbies perspective?

Big bore kits - good first timer kits, what kits to avoid & a basic guide to fitting.

Carbs & reeds - Basic guide to bigger carbs/performance reeds & how to set them up.

Exhausts - Basic guide to show the difference between pipes, sports, midrace & full race pipes. And what effect they have on the engine's behaviour.

Transmission - Basic guide to performance variators, clutchs & belts.. What they do and how they effect performance.

And some kind of "basic guide to setting up an auto scooter engine" (so that'll envolve jetting, roller & clutch setting up)

    Just my 2 pence!

Guides to derestricting too! It would avoid the "hi I'm new,how do I derestrict my 50cc......."
also a list of good sites for parts and help.
Nice if we had advice on tuning diffrent sorts of engines minarelli, Honda ect. At diffrent levels, basic-mild-race.
How bout a members map too? So we can see who lives near to us for help and rides?

Think it may end up being a couple of topics that just link to all the useful information as pretty much everything you guys have listed exists already!
