well it looks like a petition to make the sale of bike frames and v5's illigal sounds like there trying to make it illigal so that if someone steals a bike they can't just swap the parts to a new frame and be off.
i see where there coming from, but what if you got a bnt frame and the rest of the bike is ok, obviously you need a new frame to fix it so i doubt they will stop it. :rtfm: kcnw9
this is just stoopid... 'frames are used to fix write off bikes' erm yeah duhr fuckwit... why shouldnt you be able to build all your parts onto a new frame? say you hit a parking barrier, smashed the front panel/headlight/bent frame... so it would be illegal to fix it and youd basically have to scrap the bike... most people have genuine reasons for new frames :rtfm: doubt the govt will go through with it though lol sam
think thas the whole point.. if more than 50% of the parts are off another bike its technecally a ringer. once you bend your frame your bike IS a write off... now the legality out the way nothing stops people selling them privatly so dont worry
