Just wondered if anyone has a similar set up and has had a dyno run or if anyone knows roughly how much my setup would be putting out.

Piaggio zip liquid cooled.. , polini sport 70 kit, leovince zx, YSN 21mm carb, Polini high speed variator, Polini kevlar belt, Polini torque spring, little polini clutch springs, polini open foam filter, polini carbon reeds.. i think that's about it..

    thanks

about 8-9. I ran 10aircooled, but I had matched cases and ported sport.

noticed how much you can match the cases when i put the base gasket on!.. does it give you a noticable difference?

He probably has, but not an upgraded one, LOL.
No seriously Thats one thing you don't really need with a Polini sport 70 kit because it loses power quickly at higher revs so it doesn't stress the crank , that's why pedparts recomend a gear up kit for them.

In the gearbox, really want to match my cases.. Just never done it before. I feel confident i could do it but it's just the face its my little engine lool :(. do you just mark it up where the gasket goes up to and then take it all away?.. got a leaky carb now :(

be carefull if you take to much metal away you will break through and need to get the cases ally welded

A good tuned ped can give you all the BHP you need and without a dyno it is very hard to do. You just will never get everything out of your engine without it, as simple as that.

7-9 is what you should expect stock, but 9 will only be if tuned right. More if you work on your case (properly!... I have seen some terrible Dremel jobs :p)

Dont try touching your case unless you have a spare one (Or know exactly what you are doing)! :) I have done that mistake myself in the past... :p Not a good feeling if you f*** it up :/

i've got some spare.. i might just do the spare ones rather than taking my engine out again.
