im 17 at the end of february which i know is a little way off yet but i just would like opinions on what scoot i should get. i was considering getting an rs125 but then heard about the high maintenance and cost of them all. i would like to get a scoot that is fast. apparently your only allowed a bike that is 14.6bhp or 11kw?? is there any automatic scooters that i could get that are quick with just a light bit of tuning (pipe etc)and how fast would they go? sorry for the ramble on.

If you have trouble findind a good condition 2 smoke 125 then get a 4 stroke instead.

I had a standard piaggio skipper, 125 4st. And it could do 70mph all day when I used to illegally hack on the M3 to blackbush market and back.

I always wanted to 210kit that ped

seen the yamaha yzf r 125cc. and it looks the bollocks. might start saving for that. however what are you restricted to when you are 17 on a 125?

Then I got caught lol! Was about 1 mile from the A316 too dammit.. 6 points :(

Even an RS125 would be reliable Im sure their not that bad providing you keep on top of the maintenance, as with most bikes.
