Hi got the Italjet Velocifero stripped and awaiting bearings and seals,Thought Id top up n change the final drive oil.Is it extreme pressure 80-90 or something lighter? BTW I cant find a Manual anywhere for this machine,Any clues on that front lads? Cheers Paul
ye it wont hurt... just the slightly thicker oil works a little better in the bigger gearbox's.. id guess the 4t's all use a little more oil and have a diff shape gearbox, meaning the oil works better, meaning it doesent have to be so thick. but ye, 80w 90 will be fine for most things.. ive used it in 125's, i was just saying piaggio recomend 85w90 for the 125 2t engines.
