im just far to lazy so im going to get the garage to fit and set all of it up- bad i know..

but i also need to supply them with the jets...

so has anyone got any ideas on what size jet-range will be needed for this setup?|

If you're taking it to the garage you won't need to buy a box of jets. They will have their own and just charge you for their parts, they should also have rollers in too.

If they don't have the jets personally I'd walk. You've got several hundred pounds of new parts there. If they are in-equipped they may not know what they are doing, have you used them before?

yes mate i see where your coming from... but ive used them a few times mostly just for mot's and that but they seem fine, im sure it will be in safe hands, its only a small kind of business so i just put it down to that why they haven't got the jets in; he cant have every part in stock for being a small setup i guess.

anyway i just went for the 75-98 set of jets, hopefully its one of them...

ill let you all know how it gets on, with the 'dodgy garage... haha it will probably come back with completely standard parts on knowing my luck... :L

    thanks for the help. :)

No problem. Hint I always take my bikes and cars to a MOT garage opposite from what they are. I.E. my suzuki I take to be MOT'd at a honda garage and vice versa. They are always less tempted to sell you extra stuff lol Hopefully upto 98 will be fine but you never know. Good luck

LOL and i will say stop giving out advice

garages ARE NOT TUNERS. if they dont have even jets in stock your pissing in the wind asking them to set the bike up. pay somebody who KNOWS what there doing, has ALL the relevent parts/tools needed to do the work. a mechanic does NOT know, would not know and would never have to know how to set a "race" engine up.... yet your willing to supply them such a simple thing for them to "have a go" at busting all your new parts.

if they have any idea, why didnt THEY tell you what jets to buy?

this does my head in.. people paying idiots to do work to there bikes yet comming on here to get all the relevent info. why the hell should we take up the slack of your useless garage exactly?
