what jet

    im going to order my 172 soon.



    what jet will i need for a 172 kit. 180 varo and 180 gears everything else standard.



    also what jet to get if i get an air filter thanks :D

    no-one will be able to give you a specific jet, because jetting can variate through bikes even with the same set-up..... you may be able to use someone else's jetting as guide lines if they have the same set-up as you, also remember to always over-jet [go a bit richer] when first finding your settings, this will make the bike run richer but is alot better than running lean, and we all know what happens when bikes run lean :D :w00t:

    then down jet from the rich setting until your perfect jet is found [by reading spark plug]

    i have owned loads of bikes but i have never fitted a big bore kit to any of them.



    also i have never changed the jet in anything :D

    ypu dont need to upjet for a 172 if your jetting is fine on a 125.. for a filter it is needed on both but the 172 with a filter will usually run a little leaner with a filter. just bolt it on if you have the airbox tho m8 (that is if you sorted your carb problem that is)

    yer it seems to be fixed now mate... done loads of miles onit over christmas and it ticks over fine and theres no throttling it and it seems to not go anywhere



    ill just turn the oil up abit though :w00t:
