So I got the MHR Rep on my bike now with the Yasuni C16. I've got 3.8g rollers in my O/R and I'm wondering what jet I should be running in my 19mm Arreche. Any ideas?

Is that mainly because Dellortos or so much better or just a "regioonal" preference?

Also, question on carb tuning vs. tranny tuning.

Is it correct to say that you can post your bike up on the center stand so there is no resistance on the back wheel and completely tune your motor? Then, once all the plug checks look ok at all the different ranges (1/8, 1/2 and full throttle) then take the bike off the center stand and tune the tranny?

Or do you need to tune the carb/motor with resistance on the tire, like you sitting on it, riding it, checking the plug, adjusting, riding it, checking the plug, etc. Then tune the tranny?

    Does that make sense?

Ok, so I've got it all running now. It took a mix of (3)3.0's and (3)3.5's to get it running right. I've got the 105 main, and 105 pilot in there. It seems to be ok, but what RPM's should I be seeing? I took it out for a test run and it seemed like the power wasn't really kicking in until around 10,000+. I got it up to about 12,000-12,500 but then I slowed down in fear of blowing another motor. What range should I be looking to reach, and also how long can you maintain that high of an rpm? For instance if I'm using the bike as a daily rider, can I hold 12,000rpms for 5 mins or longer without worrying about it blowing?

    Thanks a lot everyone!!!

imho Dellortos are superior to Arrechie...and easier to set up.

Also with a Dellorto its easier to get jetting advice, as we all use them ;)

And you need to tune the engine under load, i.e on the open road or Dyno :D

    use very good oil...50:1 ratio.

revs depend on a few things, like how good is your bottom end...

keep an eye on temperature too, not so easy on a A.C engine...

And jetted a bit rich is safer than jetted a bit lean ;)

sorry not sure what revs you should be seeing on that kit, never used one :emb:
