sup guise Basically, I crashed my bike (Runner VX125) a week after buying it. Changed panels assumed all was well, but before I crashed the thing could cruise at 60/70 pretty nicely. After the crash it would do 60 ragging the tits off of it. Now it reaches 50mph at a struggle. Any ideas lads/ladies. I'll answer any questions about the bike.
The wheels are inline with each other, they both spin freely. One thing though, the handlebars are the SLIGHTEST bit off center. It's never bothered me I've gotten used to it, it's hardly noticable. I don't see how that would slow the bike down, I haven't changed the oil in quite a long time, could this be related to it?
depending on how hard the impact was maybe it knocked ur airbox loose or carb not airtight with the manifold.so maybe an airleak?? or wen the bike was on the floor the oil might or gone through the breather pipe and wet ur filter.. only crash related thing i can think of
Nice one roadrunner, spot on. For some reason there were only 2 screws holding the cover of the airbox on! So the bike was taking in way too much air, plus the filter was drenched in oil. Don't know how I didn't notice it before but it's all fixed and good now. Cheers pal.
