what is that box unit next to the oil tank on m aerox

i saw a box unit next to the oil tank when i stripped my aerox it has two leads and they aint attached to anything but the bike still runs..... runs like shit atm thou spluttering everywhere

 

is it on the left hand side of your oil tank? in fornt of the seat?

if it is that is your CDI unit

(altough, this should be connected? for it to run)

its next the oil tank of the newer roxes like yours

used to be nothing there but mister auto choke came along and barged its old spot out of the way

(on the top right hand side of the seat) now the e-choke unit sits there instead
