fingers crossed you dont ever have to personaly find out mate, and wake up seeing sta.rs  , snell is what the yanks use and imo better then sharp, didnt think there was any plans to introduce it to the uk tho cratch: arai make good lids, wasnt taking that away from them/you. i just hear so many bikers using the whole £££ = qulity when it doesnt in most cases in the bike world (leathers, helmets gloves etc) with out a doubt aria are over priced due to the name they have built over the years, eg, a carbon lid from hjc is about £300, a carbon lid from arai is.... 13,000 woon: , yes grand, as in a 2 years worth of lap dances in spearmint rhinos :hello: , as in 13 trips to napa  , as in a "pretty good" win on deal or no deal  :clapping: , as in your own sweat shop in china  , as in the price of a car let alone a bike :bike: how many peds could you get with that rideorcollide? hock:
im not sure fire mate, either it is coming to england or its because the gp was produced in the usa first? but as long as its met the requirements im not fussed....and yeah the arai sticker on the front of the arai carbon lid is 800 pound by itself so yeah i do agree its overpriced for the label, but the gp is sooooo comfy, and it just feels like its build sturdy and to last, and i got it for 480 with loads of stuff tinted visor, helmet bag visor bag and something else but i can remember what it is so it cant have been that good cratch:
i just have a shoei raid i think. i have never worried about cheape helmets saving my life. i know they can but its the comfort and the poor quality of them thats made me get something else doing loads of miles you dont want it uncomfortable, loads of wind comes through. visors fall off and steam up etc
 no ones saying buy a £25 quid helmet because it has a stickers saying its safe to wear. the point is you don't need to spend £500 on a aria, or a £400 on a shoei when you can get a £100+ on a agv or ogk or nitro with a better rating, just as comfortable fit etc etc. look at the moto gp grid, don't see every rider in arai's do you? (regardless of sponsorship) you don't put some one on a 200bhp, 200+mph machine in gear that isn't up to the job, and not every one wears the brands which are consider to be justifiably over price because of there logo :good:
mine hugs my cheeks nicely....like a face orgasm  ( when its warm enough to ride without the foggy mask/neck tube ale:
Love reading posts where it says star lol, like my helmet AGV S4 has a 5 star rating from sharp haha. Well  http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/search/details/?id=4 I'm glad I have 5 stars
this stare rating shit is nonsence... its vertical colision.. the roof flip front (not the boxer) got a 5 star.. doesent mean it wil save your face if you hit face first... no lids are tested face first.. star rating is a load of bollocks. oh and legally, the best lids supposedly (simpson) are banned from road use/competition in most countrys... there uncomfortable and generally poorly made (so i wont be paying 5 bills for one cheers) as for spending more than 2 bills on a lid... obviously you have more money than you do compelation in life.... meaning if you can spend more than that on a lid you SERIOUSLY need to find somthing else to spend your money on as your a sad bastard... plain black lid for me, every time... nice an cheap (same arai in black as the new holographic metalflake pearl majic airbrushed lid... SAME lid.. one all nice llooking, one plain black... 300 QUID DIFFERENCE IN COST!!!!!)
I have a few actualy as i know a guy in cheddar who sells them for stupid prices so here goes; OGK AeroBlade - i think its the earlier model Nitro Platinum flip-front in silver (cheddar £35.00) Nitro aero tech fiberglass full face silver with flames (cheddar 35.00) THH open face Matt black (cheddar 25.00) 1960S style tt helmet black with white stripes leather finished! 2x FM full face helmets one yellow the other blue! I soppose helmets are to bikers/scooterists as shoes are to women! Although i have only ever bought alid to match a bike once! If anyones local then BD BIKER CLOTHING is realy good for lids he does trades on leathers and boots as well but lids are strictly new only as apparently its illeagal to sell second hand ones! Check the website out! http://www.bdbikerclothing.co.uk/
Working at a stealership has it's advantage's. AGV have just released their 2010 range, and made changes to the stealth. The new Stealth SV Looks pretty cool in the flesh. and finally they released some colour schemes for the T2, the current helmet i wear. Again, amazing in the flesh, nice bit of spangly flake that minor loves.
