i just bought this scooter with no log book.its a yamaha 50cc but what model.there are no decals on plastics just MBK on the back of the seat
hope not he said he just lost it.i guess i will find out monday when i apply for a new one.another thing how the fuck do you get the seat up?o and where could i get a floor panel and colour code to touch up.
once u get key in ignition and off steering lock try twist it anti clockwise should pop up and both mbk ovetto n neo look same hope u find out which 1 it is
MBK Ovetto/Yamaha Neo's, they are both identical bikes. MBK & Yamaha both build bikes for eachother. Good bikes for commuting, smooth and reliable. Not so good for tuning as they are heavy for a 50cc, but the useral yamaha tuning parts are avaliable if you wanted more power from it in future.
its sooooo long applying for a logbook though mine took over a month when i had to order 1 using the v62
easy answer [skint]not working at the minute.got the bike for £130 and trying to get it on the road as cheap as i can.
as said its an mbk ovetto which is the same as a yamaha neos you dont find it suspicious that the guy you got it off couldnt tell you that? youd think if he had bought, registered, mot'd, taxed and insured the bike before he lost the log book he would know what make and model it was.........
he told me it was yamaha.i just wanted to check because there is no neos on panels and there is MBK on the seat.i have since found yamaha on the frame and mirrors.so if someone asks me what bike i have which one is it.yamah or mbk?
going by that id say its a yam thats had the seat replaced sometime wit an mbk one, is there nothin on the transmission case, vin plate or stamped into the wheels those parts usually always have makers name on. Try your vin on one of those online checkers or your reg on that site that says if its on the insurance database or not and it should bring up make and model
