It's a PGO PMX Sport 50, yesterday I was removing the exhaust to give me better access for working on it, managed to snap a bolt that was holding the exhaust up, today when refitting the exhaust I also managed to snap a bolt in the manifold >_< Really feel like giving up.. This is my exhaust: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Standard-...16?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item335ddf5c98 Does anybody know what aftermarket exhausts would fit this bike? Preferably one that adds the most BHP or one that sounds deep and not...like a bumble bee in a tin can Obviously, going to have to get the snapped bolt drilled out first though Any help would be very much appreciated!
I found this one, apparently this fits: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Technigas-Nex...59?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item415224a6d7 Does anybody have any reviews on this exhaust? Thanks
The exhaust will work but it wont be as powerfull as a 70cc exhaust but still i wouldnt recomend one.
ok thanks, I don't know where to start a search for one..I can't afford anything too pricey, as long as it's reliable and doesn't sound awful, a few BHP would be nice..
http://www.scootershack.co.uk/links.html you click on the links, select your bike in the menus, then click on performance exhausts.
If the PGO PMX and PGO Big Max have the same exhaust design (I'm not sure), then I have found some, if not, them links were not helpful
It appears only the Technigas will fit my bike excluding the standard exhaust of coarse. There are probably others that will fit but perhaps the exhaust manufacturers haven't trialled fitment on a PGO?
I put PGO PMX Sport 50 EXHAUST in Yahoo, and links came up, you aren't trying, TECNIGAS NEXT R SPORTS EXHAUST FOR PGO BIG MAX, PMX 50 ETC Product Code: AD/TSL17R Product Fitment List PGO BIG MAX 50 PGO PMX 50 PGO T-REX 50 ROAD LEGAL E-MARKED Complete sports system with an anodised silencer and chrome end cap. (FITS: BIG MAX 50/PMX 50/T-REX 50)
I was going to leave the above for you to work out until tomorrow, but here goes, I am in a simular boat to you.......... only low end pipes are available for my bike, yet for other bikes with the same engine, their choice includes the high end pipes. So I get a pipe for a Suzuki Katana A/C and end up fabricating a new bracket, worst case scenario should be a mod to the center stand or doing away with it and fitting a side stand. But you are better off, the advert above says several models can use the same pipe, and on Scooter Center for the BIG MAX several stage six exhausts are available, I reckon in that case they wouldn't be far out, if at all. At worst you send it back.
thanks, i will sort it out then, cheers What language is that website, german? Nvm, I just saw the flag in the corner of the page, Just done a search on the website, I can't find any other exhausts except Technigas http://www.scooter-center.com/scowe...:A_PGO:A_PGO_BIGMAX&category2=CAT:CAT_AUSPUFF
i know its a different scooter altogether, but the speedfight is in the same boat, theres not much mid-race and no high end kit available for it....so people make spacer plates to fit piaggio cylinder kits onto the pug bottom ends, and use piaggio exhausts as well. which is why you sometimes see speedfights in europe with pipes at strange angles and even upside down...works though :good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k5WDrET5to4&feature=related
