Title says it all, not everybody here can own an impact wrench, so I was wondering how you personally remove the variator bolt?
call me bodgey but i used to use a impact gun but until i c what htey can do to a crank, now i use a roofers tool of some sort appartently to pull out nails or sumin will psot a pic but its pointed at the ends and sits perfectly between the pulley and the casing, its ok i neever do them over tight jsut incase dont wanna snap my casing by tryign to undo it
i have an electric impact gun bought from machine mart for under £20 iirc, does it perfectly..
i used to use a cheap impact gun but i dont use it on cranks now i just use my vari locker (which i also re drilled for use with 125 engines two tools in one lol)
bad memory's of changing roller i used to a scudrive to lock it and sometimes it didnt work but best thing to use instead of get vary locker tool use a peg works like a charm
