Pulled plug on derbi senda x race as runs like crap up until 8000rpm when power band kicks in no power from 2000-7500 roughly but its a chocolate colour so im confused

Really? I'd say that was fine. I'd rather a two stroke be too rich and run well, than run too lean and risk a seizure.

Rich is good to aim for but it's easy to go too rich and end up with fouling or just being down on power from running cold which it looks like. Probably more noticeable on a geared bike where you are more reliant on certain rpms..wouldn't know :p Air screw would be a start

i would go down about 1 size on main jet. turn the mixture screw either way, just do a quarter turn at a time, then have a little ride, you will feel when its right

No problem forgot to mention it has a yasuni race pipe on and ive read a lot about them being a high rpm pipe would that be my main reason for rubbish low rpm pulling power ( not that a 50cc has much ) and if so any recomended pipes ?

Sparkplug looks fine. It's your pipe that causes the lack of power under 7500rpm. It's suppose to work that way. You can't get both low and high end power in the same pipe. Sound to me you would be most happy whit the STD pipe or a replica of the STD pipe.

also sendas are a bit like that, all revs and no go.... ive ridden a couple that have low down power, but they have been somewhat tuned that way.
