Hey guys, ive recently been researching parts for a project and i have been looked at a stage 6 racing pulley which has no teeth. I have heard they are only good for scooter sprints or drags is this the case?

    i rate them

    very noticable difference in response

only downside are that the piaggio version you have to loose your elec start

but not on the bad boy minarelli scoots

and that they wear out pretty fast being soft aluminium

They arent bad. Best for the money imo. Not heard about them wearing down but it wouldnt be suprised

And yeah for this anything apart from an impact gun could end badly really

I believe using piston stoppers are stupid as you could easily fuck your piston right up unless you know what you're doing. You need to use a impact gun to get the old one off. But It's one of those things you don't really notice a difference unless you have other parts with it.

mine was getting ridges after a few thousand miles of thrashing about

but they are only 15 quid so no fuss really

Unless you have an impact gun you can set the torque on they are a pain in the arse. I've got a strap wrench to undo mine as my engine is far too expensive to do it up with a impact gun.
