ok so im having a bad time now where i got a car will be doing my test on 7th off november but i have no funds for insurance :(
i could squeeze out a 1000 out off my pocket if i sell my aerox but that is not enough :(

so im looking to get another bike and just work over winter and get some cash for car .
currently im riding my aerox which is all tuned and not so reliable o n petrol etc and its very eye catching ( dont want it ti get stolen) also it has bar conversation which i cant afford a speedo for
and it has them lights tinted small indicators in general it wount be safe in dar which will be pretty much every day in winter

soo my budget would be like 600-800 pound
im looking for 125 + preferably
to go college everyday , so it needs to be not too bad on petrol

i was thinking of a standard typhoon 125 ? but its air cooled and i do like a 5 mile trip every morning will it still be fine ?

or maybe a gilera runner 125 2t or 4t ? but they are kinda big in size which would make me go slower in traffic ? and also they get stolen alot her

    maybe aprilia sr 125 ?
    zip 125 4t ?

im not sure lads need your advice , need so daily ride that would have a bit off power aswell
any advice would be really appreciated

Air cooled can go as long as liquid(water) cooled, as long as the mixture is right.
5 miles is nothing, especially for a stock 125.

An air cooled typh will be fine with 5 miles.

I'd say a little 4t 125 if you want something good on petrol. Zip 125's should be good on petrol due to them being 4t's.

I bought a Runner 4t 125 just for commuting and for when the weather is crap and find it great. Still fun to ride and pretty good on fuel, I did a journey yesterday of 140 miles and only put about a tenner in.

If you are not fussy on looks, i HIGHLY recomend Yamaha Cygnus 125, not the best looking bike, but they are very nice to ride, super reliable, fairly easy to tune and will do 60 mph without screaming like a 50/70.

Runner 125 4t also recomended highly for daily use. They aren't that big... and very easy to handle/chuck around in traffic!

yeah get a vx, really regret selling mine, its got enough power to overtake and is light with a high seating position, perfect for traffic, also comes with an immobiliser as standard.
