pay a dodgy garage to stamp the certificate that it's been restricted but have him not do it

I did my test at 17 and kept a 180 runner (to save on buying a new bike, insurance, restrictor kits etc) till the restriction was over and I'm now the proud owner of a CBR 600

RD350, never been questioned, also priced up RSVs and theres no problems with restrictors. get a dyno graph showing the bike peaking at 32bhp. just shut the throttle after that.

very true, a restricted 600 will weigh getting on for twice what the RS weighs and will produce the same power (give or take 2 bhp) therefore the RS ould be the quicker bike.

hpo an torque nare 2 diff things.. torque governs acceleration and the 600 will have FUCKLOADS more than the 125 regardless of hp

very true but the 600 will be increadibly bad on top speed and won't feel right, the 125 will be the more fun and will feel how it should. i would rather have an rs 125 than a restricted 600 (unless i was whipping the restrictors out ;) )

ye deffo, restricted bikes are like decaf coffee... wtf is the point.. 600 will usually out accelerate a 125 2t tho even restricted.. but ye, swings an roiundabouts still and id rather just do a real test than a restricted licence

unfortunately its not an option for most of us, ah well my "restriction" is lifted in a couple of months (like its gonna make any difference).
