What are they

    I was taking the tranny casing of my bike,and a little black plastic thing fell out,sort of in the shape of a v. Then when i tugged the cover off there were two more laying near the clutch bell. Are they important? I dont know what the fuck they are/if there important.

    out of the variator, they help it slide. more than likely anyway.

    they hold the variator back in place, they go behind the variator, someone will post a pic soon no doubt, theyre important.

    Oh fuck. :msn1: Can anyone give me direct instructions on how to put them back. Because i didnt even know they existed. FUCFUCKFUCK important then? Maybe thats why i could only get like 35ish+ after i fitted the new rollers.

    yup, remove your variator then they fit in the grooves on the backplate.

    i know i shouldnt but im riding my bike without them as mine just dissapeared :msn1:

    the v things sit in the back plate like that,


    and on the variator, every two rollers you can see like a metal thing coming up. the rubber things guide the back plate onto these

    sorry i couldnt get a standard variator pic, but its the same concept

    dont ride without them, you will shear chunks out of your variator
