Hello guys! I'm looking out to buy a 125cc bike as I turn 17 soon and want to get rid of my ped. You probably know better than me, I'm looking for a 4 stroke geared bike up to 1,500 pounds but don't really know what bike to buy. I'm not really keen on 2 stroke 125's as they drink petrol :/ Cheers, Seb!

4 strokes aren't much fun tbh, 2 strokes are much faster and lighter.

Have a look and the pulse adrenaline, Yamaha wr125x and megelli 125m. They're all really nice looking 4 strokes

Yeah, I know that 2 strokes are much funner to ride and are faster but I want something econmicall. My mate bought a Honda Varadero the other day and its so fun to ride but the bike is massive. Will probably look out for more Varadero's to be honest :D

you cant go wrong with a honda, dont expect any decent speed from a 125 4 stroke geared bike, you ped will prob be faster... you could maybe get a sachs madass 125 or a thumpstar road ripper 125? both have tuning options

From what I have seen is that 125's 4strokes can do around 75mph which is good enough for me as I travel around town alot and cant get a greater speed than 50 in most places. Also 75 mph is fair enough as most of the people I hang around with are getting 4strokes and I don't really want to be the odd one out. Yeah, maybe I sound weird but that's just the way I am. Don't want no chinese imports and will most likely go for the Varadero.
