Recently bought a scoot... all me mates either got cars or are walking, but not me. Dont know a single person who rides around here... I'm talking, Kingston - Richmond - Ham - Teddington - Hampton - Twickenham - Surbiton - New Malden area... or anywhere near. If so, you lads got meets or ride together? Would be good to know some peeps who ride scoots for advise & help (fitting parts, tuning bla bla) or just some fun riding. Must be someone rofl :wtf: cheers :bird:

lol... Needs be* not "needs must". Its not a question wether you "need" to be here, was only asking who lives around this area as I know not a single soul with a scooter around here. I seen some boys on their 50cc going sicko doing 40-50mph (lol). Thats about it. But on here i see peeps with 125- 172cc and even higher, which is cool. Simple question really.. anyone else then? :wtf:
I'm generally around, just don't like meeting up with new forum members as we know nothing about them. Most of the guys on the tuned scoots nowadays have stolen them off somebody else.
Im from around the area, would be nice to meet up and ride. Pigs round here are pigs though, we will all get stopped and searched.
If you know nothing about me then ask away, I'm an open book! If it makes you happy I'll bring ALL my details if we meet... reg/logbook papers, insurance... ID!!! lol Its really up to you.
those areas see alot of theft of scoots.. hence you wont see many around, an btw, dont stop to chat to people at traffic lights
x2 not even a joke, mate of mine got held up at gunpoint at traffic lights in broad daylight, all for a shity p reg typhoon , this happened a couple weeks ago in streatham hill, anyone that lives round here would probably know its not a joke.
I'd take my chances of getting shot and ride off. When I was 17 and had my 50cc I stopped at some traffic lights, a dude on what I think was a runner stopped next to me and looked at my scooter. He then leaned over and said "I'm gonna nick your ped"...... so I leant over, turned his ignition off, kicked him off his scooter and started bashing his lil pikey face into the pavement, until some builders near by dragged me off. Ambulance and police came and he took me to court. I ended up fined £600 for "excessive violence" and had to sell my bike. I dont regret a thing. I'm very protective over my family, mates and my stuff. Anyway, thanks for the warning minor confusion but slightly off-topic nonetheless. I've made contact with a few peeps around this area, but like you said there isnt alot. I have however seen quite a large group of lads (on 50cc-70cc) riding around. Seen em twice.
