i have removed my vari and starter gear from my rox and loads of lil springs tubes and weights fell outa no where .does anyone no were the hell they go and outa curiosity what they do .also wobbly said i can put ma seals in without stripping it by screwing a screw in n pulling seals out .does anyone no what part of the seal i should screw into as its rock hard. ty
just for future reference the spring go in the inner sides of the starter plate .there are holes on the inner ring of it the springs go in first then the small plastic caps then you eliver it back with a screw driver so the springs compressed then push the weight in .i found a small amount of greese helped it stay in position while fitting the plate managed to change the seals but now im having new problems it will only run for a few seconds then cuts out and wont start again much like the seal problem but massive ly worse. also one seal was obviously fukd as it fell straight out were as the other was a bitch to get out and put in .
no m8 i pushed them to the depth they were at before by eye though this is obv not accurate i thought it wouldnt matter to the mm but this is proof it does have to be realy accurately so plop lol. looks like i need ta pull this seal out n buy a new one .wen i do get it running for 5 seconds the running is sparatic and revs high and low when throttle is held in one place is this another symptom of pushing it in to far ? ty nibs
iv down jetted substantially as it had like a 95 in there lol so iv gone down to a 75 and dropped the rollers to 4 then it was running sweet n all the bogging stopped .thats when it cut out then i changed the seals n now it starts for 5 secs max n revs sparacticly. the carb may be setup up TOTALY wrong because i havnt set air fuel mixture iv only set tickover im gunna have a butchers at the carb guide n try set that but i dont no if itll help ty
other than setting my carb up and a seal pushed in to far what other problems could cause lean running as i want to cover all my bases to try get rid of this shitty problem ty
Rip in the manifold, airbox not on tight, rip in the tube connecting airbox to carb, send my fucking money jokes
put the airbox back on, chances are you cant quite get the idle mix right (way out) haver this prob alot wiht filters/bigger carbs on 50's
