went through a ford a bit hot and now not starting???

ok so last night a stupidaly decided to go through a ford and i went a little fast so when i get out at the other side my ped started bogging and the power was coming and going till the point where it cut out could it be the spark plug???? and its a aerox if that helps

A ford? as in, water?

LOL If you rode thru water and your engine cut out, then your carb will be full of water.. And if its got into the engine there could be trouble.

 

ye thought that might have happened but how can it get into the carb?? though the air filter so could thios be expensive

 

I once did this on my IMPORT thing.

All i did is, Take off air filter, exhaust, carb, spark plug leave them all to try out, put back on and hope for the best.

 

undo the screw at the bottom of the float bowl with something under the overflow pipe to catch whatever comes out, if it looks like it has water in it re-seal the screw and see if it runs after that. it will take a few turns over to fill the float bowl again. if it doesnt run after that your gonna have water in the motor!!
