hi there guys ive just come in from a raz around town and something must be wrong with my scoot . earlier in the day i went for about 3 or 4 miles . not flat out but flat out for say 10 seconds then dipping the throttle for 5 then back on for 10 -- just to keep up with traffic when i got into the town center i cam to set off and it revved out like normal but bogged down like fuck then picked up and revved out again .

it did this all the way home so ive parked it up and come on here for advice , it felt like something in the engine resisting rather than anything to do with fuel what could it be???

well tbh mate with that very accurate description of the occurance i'd say your ped's fucked.

straight to the point. whatever we suggest is gna be a stab in the dark at most.

YOU need to find out by looking, making checks and maybe a tad better description.

was your bike hot? - overheating
isit setup correctly? - does it normal bog out
is there sufficent oil, fuel in the bike??

theres not alot to suggest really, but im putting money on bad carb setup OR overheating seeing as you went for a quick 'raz' lol

sounds like your jets could have a cold and be all bunged up :D

    check them

qany other time up until then it was fine .. yes it has plenty of oil and yes plenty off water and wasnt overheating thing that makes me think its not jets is it a decently set up transmission and is always near top revs and doesnt have to "build up" and the revs are constant until about 30 mph then die until 35 then pick up the same again all the way to top speed

do you run the bike on low fuel because that can block them easily enough, thats the first thing i always check.

forget the qwick raz bit i always let it warm up and ride atleast half a mile at half throttle before ragging it ..i took the cyclinder head off tonight and there were no score marks whatsoever inside the barrel .. btw its a single ring stage 6 job

will clean the jets when i go back out but it really doesnt feel like that sth eproblem
