wd40

    a bit random but somewhere i saw that wd40 wasnt good for lubing a chain but yet i got some motorcycle clothes n got a free sample just wondering if any 1's used it

    nope, its too light, you need a spray grease or some actual chain spray

    Normal Wd40 is awesome. But It's not for lubricating chains.

    However the same company make that chain lube you have posted. And it will be fine. Scuba must have just read the title and thought you meant the normal stuff.

    Well, it also goes under the NATO military designation PX-24, but NATO wouldn't allow it to be sold under that name. Do you work in the lubricants industry, Berserker? I did for 25 years for various companies and worked on developing products such as water displacing fluids, as well as other lubricants and specialist chemicals.

    Edit: Well, one company sells it as PX-24..

    Don't use the normal WD40 on seals, one of the ingredients is paraffin and it can cause seals to dry and crack.

    P.S. for any wisecrackers, I don't mean the sea mammal.

    so would any 1 reccomed wd40 chain lube or not all am getting is dont use wd40 not really helpfull to be honest as as am not that daft because i know what wd40 does but they must have changed something for them to be able to make the chain lube unless its just shit chain lube
