basically, went for a ride to hemel hempstead yesterday on the way back in the pissing rain at like 10 30 at night, the bike konks out, so i lock it up on someones front garden and went and got it today, stuck a new spark plug in and it starts but it cuts out for short periods, as if when its on idle and you turn the ignition key off then on again really quickly, but it does it contantly. i cut the ht lead so its fresh, thenreattached to the ht cap, and cant seem to get the other end of the ht lead of the cdi to dry it,

so im just wondering will it eventually dry itself out and be ok or will i need to replace a few bits?

obviously water will evaporate, but it wont be quick when you consider the weather atm, got a hairdryer? try that
