So, I've flushed the system through and got rid of the crud, but I've found where the water leak is coming from, There's a machined hole in the casing, looking from the Kerb side just behind the starter, just forward and down a little from the exhaust mount in front of the wheel. Sorry bout the description and pic. Bit useless at camera phones! Lol
Sorry, had to cut my post! Little lad fell over, (he's fine). So any idea what the hole is? Should it be blocked with a bolt or something? It only leaks with the motor running, there's no oil in the expansion tank, but loads of bubbles in the leak!? Any Ideas chaps? Need it on the road next week as my truck is getting an mot and suspension lift.
Ok, I'm beggin! (gets down on knees, hands clasped), please help! It's a hell of a walk to work, there's dog poop on the footpaths, the lollypop lady refuses to stop the traffic for me to cross,I have to walk with my 14 year old son and listen to him chat to his mates about teenage angst, and worst of all... I forgot my packup the other day, and had to go hungry....please, please, take pitty Upon me in my time of dispear! Can anyone help???
Sorry if this gets your hopes us as I've not a clue, but this post made me piss! First crack up of the day. :rotfl:
Well my friend i can tell you that is the vaccum hole entrance, to but it simply for the fuel to be sucked into the carb there must be some sort of pressure to pull it there, there is a vaccum pipe which goes from the control type panel located on the bottom of the fuel tank, you will need to remove either side main fairing to get to this, there for you need to either locate the existing pipe or buy one an run it from the fuel tank all the way to the hole stated.the problem that you will have without this is it either wont start or wont start for long as the fuel is not making it to the combustion process. http://www.ultimateparts.net/aprili...99,2000-Aprilia-Spare-Parts-Genuine-&i=390776 this is the part you need .. hope this helps cheers Scott
