Water cooler to air cooled

hi ok after taking the 50cc engine apart it's pretty much fucked so Iv been offered a air cooled 125 I no people say don't swap engines and will cause arguments I'm just asking il tell my insurance and it's a project bike I'm working on so please don't start with abuse I was mearly asking a question

 

Thing is you are changing the machine from a scooter to a motorcycle. Different categories as far as DVLA are concerned. And different license requirements.
DVLA aren't concerned about like for like engine changes, but changing for a bigger engine will need paperwork and probably inspection.

 

No il be declaring it but I'm thinking of selling the project abc going to a 125 italjet

 

I no my dads mate has gone one as a project so if I can sell my runner project il start that one that's why I wanted to advise on here but havnt got enough likes or something

 

Oh yea it all goes engine ran when I stripped it but everything can go to make room for the italjet

 

i put an air cooled engine in my gilera runner vx125, as the mains went on the LC motor and the AC motor was dirt cheap, never had any problems with it
