Water coolant change problem?

    Ive tried to change coolant on my scooter kymco downtown and i saw that i need to get out of airbubbels so i did that i opend up the radiator cap and start the engine but it didnt help all the liquid start to push up and go out from the radiator neck and the temperature of the scooter go high!!! So i turn of the engine tomorrow i will go to the garage the check that anybody know what the problem? Mabey failure water pump? And does the engine could harm from this?

    You need to bleed the air out the system by the bleed screw usualy found on the top hose on the cylinder head, fill the rad, loosen screw until watewr comes out.

    Also Some cylinder tops/heads have a screw on the highest point you just loosen, to let out some air. Just tighten when fluid exits.

    When i open the air bleed screw i i need to open also the radiator cap?

    Yes, open bleed screw until anti freeze comes out with no air bubbles.

    Ok and another question if want to only fill my radiator with coolant i need to open the radiator cap and just add some coolant or i need to oped the bleed screw again?
