gilera runner 2 stroke 172. im using a 180 variator and dont know if its ok to use a 125 malossi belt. i am sure i have read that if to use a 125 malossi belt that you have to use a different order in the washers etc. is this true and wat belt is best to use and wat difference would it make in using a 125 belt? am i losing in anyway?
Re: what belt to use? polini belt for a 180 with 20.5 rollers... can use the malossi belt wiht a 180 variator tho.. just changes a few things (get a tiny dip at accel but a tiny bit more top) all irelevent uinless your racing.. ether way space the variator correctly for the roller size. a worn belt is a worn belt so a new belt being 1mm bigger/smaller isnt gonna be drasticly killing anything. just best to use malossi belts with malossi variators/125 variators with 19mm ollers and a polini belt for polini variator/180 variator.. but like i say it doesent really matter. can work any combination of belt roller diameter torque drive variator aslong as its spaced correctly
