Vx125/210 malossi

    The bike won't turnover on the starter motor, could this be a weak starter? Will get some pics up if someone can help me as I cannot upload pics on my phone, if I could email them to someone then could you post them.

    it could be any number of things really but i have a question is that the startor wont start the bike or isit that the atartor just dosent work and did it start orite before you put the 210 on ??

    It won't start the bike. Just seems to struggle turning the starter gear. Its like the starter is really weak. It has a new battery and the relay is working. I have only owned the bike since the 210 kit has been on it an got it from a friend who used to ride it with this kit but he used to have problems starting it as well.

    Same problem with 70's kits on 50's the standard electric motor isn't strong enough to turn the kit over. Stop being lazy and kick it over ;)

    Hasn't got a kick start lol. Know we're I can get one? I have the standered exhaust as well as pmtuning with a nice dent in it. What would be the best?

    Where is the dent ? And Nah I don't know, are they ment to have a kick start ?

    Aren't they Piaggio engines these days o_O

    It's on the end can, we're it has been dropped. I don't know if they are ment to have a kick start or not. Lol. It's a 2005 bike. Need to get it started.

    If it's a piaggio engine then i'm sure it does. Look on the sidecase is there a whole in it ? and I'd say the pm would give you more power.

    Thanks so much mate. Really helps. It has a hole going to the clutch. Looking at pics of them I can't seem to find one with a kick start. Going to give it a go tomoz. Really appreciate the help. Will buy you a beer if I get the chance

    Haha, It'll be bit further forward of the clutch, Closer to the variator :)

    They don't have a kick start at all, is there anything I can do to get it to turnover? Do you know if anyone on here has the I think it's leader 4t 125 engine that's in my bike. I really need some help as I'm not sure how moped engines work. The only bike I ever worked on is a rs50 and that was peice of cake

    A lot of people have leader 4t's pretty sure that's what runners use. I know you can over vault them but not too sure how.

    Over vault? I could do with some pics of the engine. Just to make sure all my pipe work is in the right place. I will put the pm exhaust on tomoz and see if I can get it to turn over.

    Last of my worrys atm that's another question I will ask on here once i think i sorted it out. Found a vx for sale cheap but it's not got any keys, not stolen. If i changed the cdi unit from mine over to that and the barrels would this work?

    I don't know, Not a 4t expert. I'm sure someone will answer tomorrow, If it was a 2t I'd know straight off normally :L

    The bikes driving me mad. I'm so close to selling it for spares and getting few more quid so can just buy a 125 with about a grand. Should get a sorta decent one for that lol

    I would love a 2poke again. Like I said had my rs50 and loved it. So much fun. Would be hard to get a good 2stroke for that price tho wouldn't it? How reliable are they?

    Runner 125 ? Depends if you want a 50 or a 125. 1500 i'd say for a 125. Get a brand new 50 for a K :L
