well my basic understanding of carbs is air and fuel in thru filters

by the looks of that your going to have 2 lots of fuel and only 1 lot of air

    hmm

yeah true. but for some people this is better, cause i for one would learn more from hearing an seeing it done rather than reading it out of a book. im sure thats the case for a number of people aswell.

problem wiht this is anyone wiht na clue see's this as good info wiht some sillyness in there... the mnajority of people who NEED this info wont be ablke to tell the difference between fact and this guys STRANGE concept's of how things work. meaning the vid's are COMPLETLY pointles.... not being funny, but if you cant read it out of txt or figure it wiht a diagram you should stay the fuck away from whatever it is your trying to do.

doesent DOING THE JOB give you a better understanding? surely this is just people quibbeling for the sake ofg it...

an INSTRUCTIONAL video with INCORRECT information is by deffinition is as useless as a paper condom.

come on, seriously... does it take THIS much for a job to sink in with some of you? if the answers yes sell your tools already.
being shown somthing is the best way to learn, this isnt the point, THESE video's use to forum members is, and for that reason there fucking useless... hence this post is a waste of time (appreciated still) but ye.. ANYWAY :wallbash:

i dont mean i do as he does  when im stuck on things and out of ideas i normally search for bit more info on that subject, watching a video gives you a few more clues. like the ones hes got there with the new diagram program, if he hadnt put that up on youtube i wouldnt of known how it worked.

he says hes a teacher in his videos? he dosnt actually teach you anything

this is the thing that pisses me off

can sit and read shit all day !!!! learn the names of shit etc and ho to do stuff

but noting compares to actually doing the job, getting the feel for things and learning you own way, like if i pry here it helps, you learn little tips that most books etc wont state.

    liek when was doing mechanics.

at work was left to do head gaskets, clutches etc just left to your own devices to o till the job was done, then went to college and had to torque wheel nuts all day :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:

and learn the names of shit when the time you spend in the class room could learn 10x as much with getting your hands dirty

    think this says it all.

my comment to him in regards of him polishing his engine cases.

"you should never polish engine internals buddy, The reason is that a mirror finish can cause cause fuel to drop out of suspension but a slightly rough finish creates tiny vortices on the surface (boundary layer) that create turbulance and keep the fuel droplets in suspension. "

    the reply

"turbulence is bad, you want everything free flowing, the fuel suspension thing is total BS too "
