VHT paint

Well using the bike through the Winter has been interesting to say the least, but the salt and spray have made my mild steel exhaust look like crap!
I am going to remove all the rust from the pipe but not sure which very high temp paint to use. Anyone got any suggestions as to which is worthwhile?
Any help much appreciated.

 

I use BBQ paint!

 

I have read about that, does the metal have to be rust free?

 

I just give it a good wire brushing, VHT paint never work's so you'll be doing it regular anyway!
