Vespa LXV ET4 07 50cc re-engine up to 125cc or more UK

Hi all, new to this lark so go easy!

I have the above machine, all good for in and out of London traffic, and i cant ride a big boy bike for a while due to operation on my foot.

Eventually, ill want to upgrade to 125 or above. Every LXV 125 ive seen has either been rough or silly money.

The body and paint on this 50 is like new and engine only has 10k on it.

Is this feasible?

Ive found an 80cc bore out kit, but not cheap....

 

If it's doing 40mph, leave it alone until you get a 125.
