    I got a Piaggio zip 70cc.
    Modifications
    Leo vince ZX exhaust system
    70cc pmtuning aluminum kit
    NGK racing spark plug (BR9EIX)
Polini Variator kit which included: variator with 6.3KG rollers, drivebelt, Tourque spring
Polini high flow performance air filter
Dorletto carb 21m (Have got TNT 21m carb, cant get it to work)

    Anyways problem is:
my ped use to hit 70mph with standard variator (no polini kit) and 17.5m carb.
must of drove 20miles home and on the way home it was boggy abit and wasnt running its best.
next morning would not start, got it started the bike wouldnt hit over 40mph, put all the kit etc on it and its still only hits around 55mph which is kinda bollox for the money i spent on parts to get it running fast again. The bike doesnt start on the button takes like 5-7 seconds of eletric startin and open and closing the throttle. Once bike is started it and is warm, it idles high-ish then will drop really quickly, sometimes cutting out or will idle for few seconds then die. When i open it up to go faster, it sounds like it wants to go faster but it just wont budge, Used all sort of rollers, nothing.
Buying a new piston ring tomorrow, but untill then, anybody got any idea's what so ever?

The high idle might suggest an air leak..split inlet rubber or crank seal gone...that'll alter the mixture. Try spraying some easy start around to see if the revs increase

Ive looked over the inlet manifold, there is loads n loads of tiny little cracks, gunna start the bike up tmoz n see if i can feel any leaks. Tried easy start not much difference.
Thanks for the reply and the idea been dying for someone to say something :)

As above. I'd check your piston too. Replace the plug with a br9es. No need for iradium plug. Ps you're not doing 70;)

Check you have strong spark too, my bike was boggin really bad today and had been hard to start. I cut some fresh HT lead and fitted it and now I have a really good spark and the bike runs great.
