Go for polini speed control i have the malossi one and its the reason for my poor transmission, roller falttening, etc, etc

"But I can tell you that every one that comes into our shop and has had problems with transmission (pullaway ,top end and torque dips ect have all been useing mallossie variators ) Thay are poorly cast and the inner bushes tend to stick and the main problem is the veriator sliders they are shit and tend to not slide but jam up causing heat and friction and do tend to damage both the veriator and the outer pully."

That was from the man himself, reddwarf, Go with Polini Variator mate, and you wont go wrong.

.. Not to sure on the clutch does it even have a brand ?

I used the malossi multivar in my neos, and it made quite a bit of difference, rate them over the polini equivelent.

Ill just add (and this in no way is a dig at Malossi as they make some very good products) that we refuse to supply or fit Malossi variators because of the issue with the red sliders wearing out and eating into the alloy of the variator body causing the back ramp to stick and jam.
If someone has a Malossi variator and the scoot is in for a service we swap the ramp sliders for the stronger blue Polini ones and advise them to change the variator.
It`s not a question of performance but more of longevity and reliability.
