Variator

    I was just looking though some sites and found this POLINI 9 ROLLER SUPER SPEED VARIATOR KIT
    Has anyone got one of these on there ped?
    Does it make a differents?

    i prefer the 6 roller variators, they are much cheaper to set up as the rollers are cheaper and more widely available :)

    Yeah thats true i havent seen nowere that sell's a pack of 9 rollers

    Is there much of a change with performance?

    plus the rollers are thinner than normal...

    the main purpose of the 9 roller variators is to cut down on roller wear, and to combat heat,
    but i cant really imagine too much advantage over a well set up 6 roller variator like a polini speedcontrol for example :)
