    Hey all,

Recently i took my variator apart to see what the fucks slowing me down so bad, and i know its my Variator, as the engine tuning is perfect.

I noticed that the ramps on my variator look pretty worn, i cannot see any lumpy bits. It looks like the rollers have just been doing a massive burnout lol

Heres a pic i took, what do uz think?

pic is absoloutly usel;ess.. but all looks fine from what i can make out.
try messuring the belt width, how do you know its spot on if your not as fast as you should be? when somthing stops working like it did it means somthings broken, so a perfecftly setup engine could have worked the idle mix loose or even the jet unwound in the bowl.. can be a million things stopping the bike doing what it should so being "sure" its not somthing is a bit silly.. check everything you know how to then ask q's.

Sorry for fucking you around, not extremely smart about troubleshooting yet.

Im guessing something in the tranny is destricting my power, as whenever i put new rollers in, the bike goes so well for a day or two then goes back to the old feeling of the power of the 50cc.

Bike is not smoking heaps ( alittle at low revs, barely nothing).
    Belt doesnt look worn.

Im sorry for being an idiot tho, its just really fustrating me.
You dont know how much your comments are appreicated.

right, if the rollers are fine for a day or two then it dies how are they comming out?
    do they look worn?
if this is the case check the centre shaft inside the variator for any play on the crank/variator, check your belt width, check the clutch moves freely..
certianly is a strange problem but if the rollers are comming out as there going in (unworn) theres somthing amis with the fitment not the variator.

could be working loose/spacer missing somwhere, can be somthing so silly. best way to iliminate a problem is to try a working item.

I noticed that some of the teeth on the variator (front) are missing.

    Could this be the result?

Checked the rollers and they are NOT wearing. (4.2g)
