variator problem

hi i have derestricted my variator i took of 2 washer one was alot fater than the other shud i have put one ov them back on as now my ped takes a lot longer to pik up speed its a malaguti phantom f12 ac....... minarelli engine same as yamaha

its a malaguti phantom ac one ov the washers that i took from the variator is just a normal steel washer the other look to me like the restrictor i was finking that i shud ov put the normal washer back on ?????
