In this picture at the bottom of the multi-var there are two washers one big one small, when i had this installed at the garaged they but the big spacer over the bushing.when i took it to be dynoed the shop said that was the restrictor so i should removed it , now why would mallossi put a restrictor in with the kit. or does that help the multivar? do i leave the big washer out? :banghead: and i also removed the vario control spacer from between the drive face and bushing and they told me too put that back in saying in controls the way your belt drives im so confused right now
i think the smaller washer is the restrictor but im not 100% sure, also you should definately put the control spacer back in.
the big one is the restrictor. does it go between the variator and the other drive plate thing? if it does its the restrictor
Read the manual that comes with the part? It says what bits need to be fitted for what bike and where.
Thanks for the replys peeps but my multivar s setup perfect its this control spacer that was already on the bike as standard the big one is restrictor goes underneath belt etc, the other one goes where the starter motor is instead (kickstart only) what im talking about is the control spacer . i have bought a set of different thicknesses and was wondering if these would help my top end ? picture of set of washers below http://www.pedparts.co.uk/product/525/adjustment-washers-stage6-variocontrol--aerox
