i bought a hebo variator off scooter attack but it just doesnt wanna work ive tried to fit it in so many different ways but it still doesnt work, when i start it up it jus sounds fucked, sometimes its too tight to spin , sometimes its too loose. someone help me or buy it off me lol
is they scracth in the vario cover if so find a socket that covers the end of the crank and give it a wak make sure it gose on as much as it can and then do it up and wobble it as u r doin it up works for me
that was bare confusing, i think i might have got the wrong variator, but on scooter-attack it did say it fits a zip so i dunno. what bike did you fit yours to m8
are you sure when your tightening up the nut the variator pulley half isnt going on wonkey? after you have tightened up that nut, spin the engine over and youl see the belt jump out from being trapped then tighten it up abit more(carefully)..then your pulley half is now straight.. but if your talking about the variator plate...its probably just your splines are stripped
i want someone to come down and do it for me now coz ive havd enough of trying to do it and it not working, if anyone wants to do it there is a full workshop full of tools to use
Might be something on the lines of what Biggie was saying, but when you put it all back on is the belt slack? Usually need to take the clutch off so you can have the belt slack at the variator end.
