So just put a stage 6 sport pro variator and belt into my aerox and they're a few mm wider than the stock ones, but the thing behind the variator nut that the kickstart locks into at the end now won't sit on the crankshaft. Thought whatever just did it up tighter and put the cover on and its so much wider it won't let the kickstart spring back cause its being pushed against the cover. Wtaf??? Now the engine cant turn, and i can't pull the fan off cause the end of the slotted part on the crankshaft where it all mounts on is dented.
sounds like you need a smaller spacer behind the variator. did the variator come with a different washer ?
