    Alright guys,

So yeah, as the title says my rear drum brake is 95% useless. I'm not quite sure on exactly what has happened but it used to be alright, but no brilliant. I've tried tightening the brake so that there's no play in the lever at all. I can still pull it all the way right back the grip and still accelerate pretty quick away.

I'd quite like to have trust in my rear brake as i'd like to learn how to wheelie, but with the brake in its current state im not even going to bother. I've seen other bike which drum brakes are insane!

So, if you were in the situation im in, what would you do? The bikes a Peugeot Speedfight 2 if thats any help. Could it be that it just needs adjusting?

Any help whats so ever is good.

    Regards,

    Sam.

it probably needs new brake shoes,,you cant keep tightening adjuster up you will end up needing a new wheel, take it out and check the brake shoes

Could need a new cable if it's been fully adjusted and it's still not doing anything. They can stretch over time.
