hi just recieved my 70 kit, and i can figure out how the water pump thermostat thing goes into place, i think ive got it right but it doesent seem to go all the way in... is this right? sorry about the big pics im in a bit of a rush any help os much apreciated thanks
it should fit flat wiht the notch lined up to the little pin inside the hole.. thinjk its upside down in the pic. wont fit any other way.. there is a ,little booklet with your kit that shows you.
yeah the little notch is lined up, the pic says it goes in that way, ive kinda forced it in now and it seems ok dont know if i want to risk it being forced in and all, might run it wihout it, when my bike actually idles by itself i leave it to warm up for ages anyway what u recon i should do?
cheers dave il go take it out now just out of interest how long do you usually leave it idling before driving? as i know it will usually take longer to warm up without the thermostat
i only let it sit there for about a minute... i warm the engine by rideing it gently for the 1st few miles
