ok so ive already posted about my aerox missfiring but no-one has come up with any possibilities , please help theres no bus to where i work so i have to ride my push bike 11 miles
ok some possibilities... 1..spark plug knackered, if it aint been changed recently change it now 2..Also check the spark plug cap is a nice tight fit on the plug... if it missfires in the wet mostly, get a new plug cap... 3..check the air filter element is clean, if its very dirty or wet it will cause too rich running, which leads to... 4..is your choke sticking on... 5..is there dirt or debris in your carb... 6..is the coil/c.d.i ok... 7..is there condensation or corrosion in your stator... 8..is the engine mechanically sound...i.e piston/rings/bore etc (compression check reveals all) Theres a few to be getting on with
right dave , it aint runing rich because the plug is still a chocolatey brown . dont think the plugs knacker but ill go get one now air filter looks ok not significant dirt, the carb took that little bung out of the bottom of my carb and blasted it with my air line , got to check stator, and ive done a compression test but it dont know exactly what im looking for , one thing i am thinking is when i was trying to take my engine apart i struggled at the flywheel so i rammed a screwdriver in to hold it and this may have caused damage also little bits of metal from my flowing/matching may have got into the crankcase
