URGENT HELP... CALLING UPON ALL TECHNICAL FREAKS

    well im going to be fitting a 180 engine in my bike within the day or two and was planning on using a 125 loom until i was told i can use the 50cc loom....
    it didnt sound right at first as i thought the 50 cdi ,regulator, coil couldnt work with the 180 engine.

    id just like to hear from a few people who have dont the conversion and used a 50cc loom and it worked for them?

    p.s.i have got the 125/180 loom but have got none of the attachments at all e.g. 125/180 regulator,cdi,coil,high low beam switch, etc, so if it turns out i cant use the 50cc loom could someone get hold of all the loom attachments for me...preferably in london so i can get them asap

    hope to hear sum prompt replies

    never done the job personally...but...

    youve gotta use the 125 or 180 loom with the 125/180 motor!!!

    or you can chop parts of the 125 loom into the 50 one, good luck though, it took me 4 hours to convert a diagram one time.

    ok so now ive stated that u cant use da 50cc loom

    has any1 got all da attachments for the loom for sale e.g.cdi,coil,light switch etc etc pleaseeeeeee!!!!

    you can usually pick a whole loom up for £15-£20 second hand!!

    not anymore.. there gettin hard to find. lots of conversions about now

    loom is easy 30 quid plus the cost of the rec/cdi/coil.. aint gonna be cheapo. styevo had to buy one new from piaggio

    your best bet mate is to post up in the wanted section and search ebay for a runner 125 180 that is breaking... you'll find one u just gotta look hard..are the vx ones the same ??? ebay is your freind pal

    lucky i bought a 180 loom last summer...and no its not for sale ;)

    no the vx loom IS NOT the same,

    and yer a typhoon loom new from the deeler was £105 :msn1:
