Hi, Okay then, I've rang a Piaggio Dealer and he said he could jet my carb for my Doppler S3R for around £50, My dad doesn't want to do it as he said you have to mess with Fuel and Air mix and Idle Screw, is this true? Or do you just screw on the new jet and off you go? What would be the best size jet for my bike? What is the standard jet for my bike? Do you need to mess with the Fuel/air mix and idle screw once you have changed a jet? Bike: Piaggio NRG Extreme 2003 Air Cooled.
look, if he could jet your bike he would know this shit....if your dad wont pay it he's an idiot... iuts not just a mix screw, again, he's an idiot talking about stuff he doesent know (usual story) tell him he's an idiot and ether pay somone to jet your bike/read up in the many guides avalable all over the net (especially here, theres 3 of the fucking things) OR dont tune your bike.. simple. there are rules on here youve broken lots of already.. posting links to forbidden sites, asking for parts befor having relevent posts to place a wanted (also in this youve posted somthing in the wrong section) double posts through impatience and now this nonsence... all this shit is coverd in guides/millions of posts all over the board. find them yourself. werer sick of explaning jetting to people who could EASILY find a nice guide if YOU spent the effort we had to replying to these useless posts. i shouldent even waste my time replying to this, it should be in the bin with the rest of the posts identical to this daily.. pipes need setup of the jet, the idle mix, the choke, the needle in some cases.. the rollers and clutch springs will need changing and you need SOME idea what your doping to do this... go read the guides
i read your post properly  yes your dad is right, you do have to mess with the fuel/air mix... £50 is probably not too bad a price, if the piaggio dealer does the job properly...i.e, idle screw, main jet, clutch springs and rollers but unfortunately bike shops will take your money in exchange for shoddy workmanship :beee:
