Upjetted and air filter

got my air filter on my ped upjetted to an 80 jet its running better but might go for a 90 and see how that is. My accleeration has improved but my top speed has decreased by about 3 mph is this supposed to happen? cheers

does it have to go on the dyno also theres a black wire with a blue line down it hanging out its fallen out of a tiny hole in something that looks like a cap theres another wire thats in there properly what is it ?

 

Are these wires on the carb?? if so could be from the auto choke. I would try goin up a size on the jet might slightly lean.

probably from the auto choke, try to reconnect them that may have an effect on the running issue.

 

Ok thanks johhny mate i bought polini jets from 100 to 120 so i will sort it asap on dyno and in regards to my choke in this picture where the 2 yellow and blue wires are one of them is broken and not firmly in the hole. Ok mate do i need a manual or automatic one and can i still ride it at the moment like it is or not ?

 

choke only works when you start the bike from cold , if it starts fine you can ride it like this until u get another one
