Okay, Im new to scooters but not new to car audio/electical crap..

I basically want to upgrade my battery in my scooter..

Now with cars, it's not too smart to put a battery in thats too big for the alternator to charge.
What i want to know is whats the biggest battery i could put in??
What sort of Amps is the Alternator?

The reasons behind this is I have just installed:
    -Neons
    and
    -Musical Air Horns...

Why? Because I think its funny...
Anyway, To the point... Can i put a non-standard battery in my 50cc SPC Runner scooter? Anyone with suggestions (helpfull ones?)
And no... im not taking off the air horns.
When the scooters not running, the compressor doesnt get enough power to blow the horns properly.
When running it only blows 3/4 of them.
I want a battery that can let me blow all 5...
    Help? Please?

as you said the alternator (stator) wont charge a bigger battery so a bigger one will work for about a week then run half charged so your indi's an that will slow down also the eleci start wont work. you need to run the neons off the headlight circit on a double throwdown switch (so you can switch the lights on then theres a switch to swap the heads for the neons... best thing
