Hi guys my name is romain,
I am French been a Londoner for over 10 years
My first scooter was a Yamaha bws full malossi trofeo ( that was before mhr)
I am a mechanic I used to work at a malossi and piaggio dealer
So I did modify few runners 50/ 125
I converted a zip fast rider in an sp lc ( without changing the engine block : machining to fit the water pump and loads more....)full mhr team for my brother we clocked 155 kph on this one and it had trouble keeping the front wheel on the floor
I also played and was riding a kymco cobra 50 as an everyday bike capable of 120kph reliable
Right now I have a kymco agility 125 fully kited in France to replace the cobra and a Yamaha tmax
With complete transmission malossi exhaust and camshaft
And built an aprilia sport city 210 v power fully kited as well for my girlfriend
I love anything mechanic related and making stuff faster
    2 stroke or 4 stroke
I like the surprise on people faces when they can't keep up or they have to accelerate more than they initially thought
Feel free to ask some question

welcome from norway! i worked at a piaggio/honda/yamaha dealer before bad health forced me to quit, starting my own business selling copies of honda cubs, its slow as they were never imported here so they are relatively unknown still.
did you find working for piaggio that you spent all your days replacing rusty cylinders and exhausts? or was there less rain and salt where you lived? what made you move to the uk?

    Hi and thank you,

I am from south of France so beside the air being salty living by the seaside it s still fairly dry but the standard exhaust are fairly bad even the alluminium alloy parts oxide fairly easy worst being the wheels ending leaking in between the wheel and the paint
The postmans had Liberty so I would see at least one a day I have seen it all on those things

The initial plan was a quick three month over winter to approve my English but I fall in love with the city
    And it fast pace lifestyle
But I have to say I often miss the country side and used to race enduro bike that s what I miss the most

    Hi Leon
My cobra was a racer the one with twelve inch wheel
I had the a malossi cylinder kit plus head
    The engine case was reworked
    Malossi 19mm carb
    Malossi variator
    Malossi Kevlar belt
    Malossi torque converter
Malossi fly clutch and clutch bell
The exhaust I think was a leovince or ninja R not sure
And i am pretty sure I had a malossi gear as well but I believe it might have been discontinued
Kept it with the oil pump and ran on fully synth it was a really good scoot as I said 120 kph reliable
The only thing I didn't and which limited the bike at high revs was upgraded ignition
I have an old picture with my boss on it I might post it

    Thank you,
    And glad I could help
As you can see on the bottom left of the picture that s the agility it s not a city it s got 12 inches wheels as well
This is the next work horse who replaced the cobra as my holiday bike when I am back home it s really fun but dying for a gear kit it could have so much more potential !!
It does surprise many on a stand still start tho
